Edilcon has invested in its own plant and equipment to meet operational needs. The company also operates an established workshop with skilled mechanics dedicated to maintaining and servicing its plant, equipment, and motor fleet.
Edilcon is a BBBEE Level 1 Rated Organisation
Edilcon takes immense pride in its current Level 1 BBBEE certification, achieved through tireless dedication to transformation. The company holds a BBBEE certificate based on the Construction Sector Code, Section 9 of the BBBEE Amendment Act 46 of 2003, with a procurement recognition level of 135% as an empowering supplier. Edilcon is currently 35% Black-owned, reflecting its longstanding commitment to broad-based Black economic empowerment. This journey, which began many years ago, recently culminated in a significant shareholding transaction with Nelson Kabine Construction and Projects CC—a Black woman-owned entity. Nelson Kabine and his family have been integral to Edilcon for years, and this partnership, now resulting in 17.85% Black women ownership, is a source of great pride for the company.
