Nomsa represents shareholder Nelson Kabine Construction on the Board.
Riccardo Altini
Managing Director
Riccardo has a MSc (Building) from the University of the Witwatersrand and has over 20 years of experience in the project management and construction industry. Riccardo joined Edilcon in 2006 and was appointed Managing Director in 2016. He is the driving force of the business and is well respected throughout the construction sector. Riccardo is responsible for client relationships and oversight of operations and is involved in all aspects of site and employees. Riccardo has a wealth of technical expertise and has a pragmatic and creative approach.
Pierre Vial
Senior Estimator
Pierre joined Edilcon in mid-2019 as an estimator and heads the tender department. With a successful career spanning over 40 years, Pierre has a wealth of knowledge and experience. Pierre is involved in all projects from inception and plays a vital role in securing feasible work for the company.
Pierre de Wet
Senior Quantity Surveyor
Pierre joined Edilcon in 2026, bringing over three decades of expertise to the team. He holds a B.Sc (Q.S.) degree from the University of the Free State. Throughout his 30-year career, Pierre has successfully delivered diverse projects spanning the residential, commercial, industrial and mining sectors.
Gianna Von Bornmann
Finance
Gianna heads the finance team at Edilcon and holds a BAcc(Hons) and BSc from the University of the Witwatersrand. Gianna started her career doing accounting and auditing articles at Deloitte where she completed her studies to become a CA. She then moved into corporate finance. She joined Edilcon in 2016 and is responsible for all financial oversight.
Suzana Cornelius
Financial Manager
Suzana holds a BCompt (Hons) from UNISA and has completed her SAICA articles. Suzana has worked in the engineering and construction industry since 2007 and has expertise in all areas of financial accounting including managerial accounting, taxation and financial reporting.
Lindsay Myers
Plumbing Contracts Manager
With over 30 years of service Lindsay heads the plumbing team. Lindsay has a wealth of knowledge and experience and is involved in all plumbing projects from inception.
Ivan Walker
Contracts Manager
Ivan is a Contracts Manager with over 32 years of experience within the construction and project management industry. Having graduated in 1994 from Witwatersrand Technicon with an NDip Building Science, Ivan's career includes 2 years of international experience working in the UK and a substantial 23-year tenure at a leading construction company. He brings a passion for tackling complex project challenges with a pragmatic, streamlined, on-site approach, and believes in uniting clients, professionals and site teams to deliver projects safely, timeously and to budget.
Joseph Khumalo
Yard & Logistics Manager
Joseph joined Edilcon in 2020 and manages the yard and all plant and equipment.
Luca Altini
Development & Property Manager
Luca is the head of the Development and Property Management department at Edilcon and holds a BSc in Civil Engineering, a certificate in Real Estate Economics & Finance from the London School of Economics & Political Science and an MBA from the SDA Bocconi School of Management. Luca has passion and drive and constantly exceed client’s expectations on projects.
